Frequently asked questions

How do I unlock the full app?

All About The Points is free to download and offers two ways to unlock full access from the paywall shown after onboarding: an auto-renewing Annual subscription and a one-time Lifetime purchase. You can reopen the purchase screen at any time from the app's Settings.

How do I restore a previous purchase?

If you bought the app on another device or reinstalled it, open the purchase screen and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed into the same Apple Account you used for the original purchase.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple. Open Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad (or visit Apple's guide) to change or cancel your plan. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access through the end of the current billing period.

How do I request a refund?

Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple as well. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account, and choose the purchase you would like refunded. If you run into trouble, email us and we'll point you in the right direction.

Does the app connect to my bank or card accounts?

No. All About The Points never asks for bank logins, card numbers, or financial credentials. Card benefit data is bundled reference content, and everything you track (claims, notes, receipt photos) stays on your device and in your personal iCloud. See the Privacy Policy for details.

My data didn't appear on my new device. What do I do?

The app syncs through your personal iCloud account. On both devices, make sure you are signed into the same Apple Account and that Settings → your name → iCloud → Saved to iCloud includes All About The Points. Give the new device a few minutes on Wi‑Fi to pull the data down. If it still doesn't appear, email us.

A card benefit is missing or out of date. Can you fix it?

Yes, please tell us! Card issuers change their benefits regularly, and reports from users are the fastest way for us to catch changes. Email the card name and the benefit that's wrong or missing, and we'll update the catalog; updates reach the app automatically without an App Store update.

How do I add the widgets?

Touch and hold your Home Screen, tap the Edit (or “+”) button, and search for All About The Points. Widgets are also available for the Lock Screen from the Lock Screen customization view.

Can I use Siri or Shortcuts?

Yes. All About The Points ships five App Intents you can use with Siri or the Shortcuts app: best card for a spending category, credits expiring this month, and more. See our Shortcuts recipes page for ready-made automations, including a checkout-counter card picker and a 9 AM expiring-credits digest.
