How do I add the widgets?

Touch and hold your iPhone Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and search for Houseboard. There are widgets for To Do, Bin Night, Whose Turn, Routine, and Points. Touch and hold a widget and choose Edit Widget to pick a person, chore, or routine.

How do I get them on my HomeView display?

HomeView shows widgets from your iPhone when your iPhone is nearby. Open the widget gallery on your HomeView display and choose Houseboard. Houseboard widgets come in the small size HomeView uses.

How do I share the board with my family?

In Houseboard, go to Family, then Share with family, then Invite family, and send the invite by Messages or Mail. Each person needs the app and an iCloud account. Joining replaces their board with the shared one. Kids do not need their own iPhone to be on the board.

How do I add things to my calendar?

Go to Family, then Add to my calendar. Pick any calendar, including a shared family calendar, and choose what to include. Events use plain titles like "Take out trash". Turning the option off removes the events Houseboard added.

How do points work?

Go to Family, then Points and rewards, and turn on points. Whoever's turn it was earns a chore's points when it is marked done. Finishing a routine before its countdown ends earns a bonus. You can set rewards, give bonuses, and give each point a cash value for allowance.

Every other week recycling is on the wrong week

Go to Schedule, open Recycling, and change Cycle starts to a date in a week that has a pickup.

Can I start over?

Go to Family and tap Run setup again. Finishing setup replaces your current chores, schedule, and routines.
